Davicom launch SuperMAC firmware

Visitors to the Radica Broadcast Stand at this year’s Broadcast Asia met with Davicom MAC’s “SuperMAC”. Radica Director, Alan Brown, was on hand to demonstrate the latest broadcast telemetry innovation from Davicom. The SuperMAC configuration allows up to 64 metering and 128 status inputs by networking 4 x MAC216 units.

One of the key advantages of installing the Davicom MAC Telemetry System at sites is centralised accountability. No longer are sites under the sole control of local technicians. All data is logged centrally allowing management reports to show down-time and other faults. Broadcast groups adopting the Davicom MAC System have reported benefiting from easier system administration and the benefit of rolling out “standard” equipment setting across multiple sites.
