SWE-DISH Demo Day

A sunny afternoon on the 4th of July saw our first demo day for the SWE-DISH range of quick to air satellite terminals. Radica are the new distributor for SWE-DISH satellite terminals and we were very pleased to host a good turnout from existing and also new clients who had shown interest in SWE-DISH.

On show were Suitcase, Fly-Away and Drive-Away terminals for a range of video and IP broadcast applications. Attending the demo were a wide range of Radica clients representing many areas of the broadcast industry, re-enforcing the many uses that mobile satellite terminals can have. Using an Suitcase CCT90, an SD camera stream was uplinked to satellite and then received on a Drive-Away CCT120 system. The CCT moniker stands for “Communicase Technology”. This is a pluggable modem system that makes SWE-DISH terminals very versatile for multiple interface formats such as L-Band, IP and SCPC.

Already used by broadcasters and governments around the world, SWE-DISH systems represent years of dedication and perfection in product design. This is backed up by a first class dealership network including ourselves at Radica who will be working with and supporting commercial broadcast users of SWE-DISH in the UK.
